Terms and Conditions for Job Portal Use for Member Doctors

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the IMA Job Portal ("www.imacareers4doctors.com"), which is operated by the Indian Medical Association ("IMA"). By registering and accessing the Portal, you ("User," "Applicant," or "Member Doctor") agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Acceptance of Terms :-

    By accessing or using the IMA Job Portal, you affirm that you are a registered member of IMA, and you agree to comply with these Terms and any other applicable laws or regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must refrain from using the Portal.

  2. Purpose of the Portal

    The IMA Job Portal is a platform provided by IMA for its member doctors to access job opportunities in the healthcare sector. The Portal allows members to apply for job listings provided by third-party employers. IMA acts solely as an intermediary, facilitating the connection between employers and member doctors. IMA does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any job listing, employer, or job offer.

  3. Registration and Fees

    To use the Portal, you must register as a member of IMA.. This fee is non-refundable. Registration on the Portal does not guarantee job placement or job offers. It is solely for the purpose of facilitating access to job opportunities.

  4. User Obligations

    By using this Portal, you agree to:

    • Provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration and job application process.
    • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional ethics while using the Portal.
    • Not misuse the Portal for any fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activities.
    • Not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
    • Immediately notify IMA of any unauthorized access to your account.

  5. IMA’s Role and Liability

    • No Responsibility for Job Offers: IMA is not a recruitment agency. It does not guarantee job placement or job offers. Any job listings posted on the Portal are the responsibility of the third-party employers. IMA cannot be held liable for any job- related issues, including but not limited to disputes, disagreements, employment terms, salary discrepancies, workplace conditions, or termination of employment.
    • No Endorsement of Employers: IMA does not endorse or validate any third-party employers or their job offers. It is your responsibility to evaluate the credibility of any employer before applying or accepting any offers.
    • No Warranty for Accuracy: IMA does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any job listing. IMA is not liable for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the job listings posted by third-party employers.
    • No Liability for Legal Disputes: IMA shall not be held liable for any legal consequences arising out of or related to your use of the Portal, including but not limited to any disputes with employers, work conditions, or contractual obligations.

  6. Employer Responsibilities

    Employers are solely responsible for the content and authenticity of the job listings they post on the Portal. IMA is not responsible for verifying the legitimacy of employers or their job offers.

  7. User Content

    You are responsible for all content (e.g., resumes, personal information, cover letters) that you upload, post, or submit on the Portal. IMA does not claim ownership of your content but reserves the right to remove or modify any content that violates the Terms or is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful.

  8. Privacy Policy

    By using the Portal, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as described in IMA’s Privacy Policy. Your personal information will only be used for the purpose of connecting you with job opportunities and for other services provided through the Portal. IMA is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable laws.

  9. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IMA and affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Portal, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with third-party employers.

  10. Termination of Accessn

    IMA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Portal at its sole discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms, fraud, or any other reason deemed appropriate. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Portal and any content you have submitted.

  11. Modifications to Terms

    IMA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Portal. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. By continuing to use the Portal after any modifications, you accept the revised Terms.

  12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the use of the Portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi only .
